TO APPLY
to be an Exhibitor at the Western Design Conference,
please:
1. Complete the enclosed
application.
2. Provide six (6) digital
images or 35mm prints which are representative of
your work. Digital images are preferred and are to
be submitted in the following format:
3. Number and provide
a complete description of each print or digital image
submitted.
4. Enclose a $25 non-refundable
jury fee. Enclose a self- addressed stamped envelope
for the return of your prints or disc.
APPLICATION
DEADLINE:
NOVEMBER 30, 2002
ACCEPTANCE Exhibitors
will be chosen through a strict jury process. All
applicants will be notified of the jury’s decision
by mail on or before December 20, 2002.
If selected to exhibit
in the 2003 Western Design Conference, entrants will
receive a complimentary page in the Sourcebook and
the opportunity to display up to two pieces or ensembles.
1. Fees to exhibit will
range from $500 for a single piece to $1200 for an
oversize ensemble. A detailed fee schedule will be
provided upon acceptance into the show.
2. A biography and image
for your page in the Sourcebook, plus a $500 non-refundable
deposit must be received by January 15th. Failure
to meet this deadline will mean forfeiture of your
complimentary page in the Sourcebook.
3. 100% of the $500
deposit will be applied towards your entry fee.
4. WDC will provide
a press release to your hometown newspaper.
THE EXHIBITION Each
September, the Western Design Conference Exhibition
features unique designs of furniture, fashion and
home accessories of the western genre in a formal
gallery format.
The Conference attracts
a large audience of architects, interior designers
and western enthusiasts from across the nation.
$19,500 will be presented
in cash awards!
