a part of the hottest runway show in the Western industry!
The show will kick off the tenth annual Western Design Conference,
September 18-21, 2002 in Cody, Wyoming.
The Western Design Conference is a gathering
of top crafts people and designers from across the nation
promoting an exchange of knowledge, education, display, and
trade tips. This fashion show has become one of the favorite
events of the entire weekend and continues to grow and gain
attention nationally. In 2001, an audience of over 650 people
gathered to see the newest designs in the West.
In the last several years the Conference has proven itself
as a viable market for couture western fashion. Its market
demands unique pieces that command high price points. The
Conference serves a million-dollar market and the buyers will
travel across the country just to find pieces that aren't
found in stores. A selling venue is provided for the fashion
designers to market their couture collections during the week
of the Conference.
Each exhibitor is eligible for the following
awards:
1 - Fashion Designer of the Year
2 - Best Adaptation of Materials
3 - Best Collection General Information
*Twenty- five designers will be
selected to display their couture collections on the WDC runway
September 18, 2002. Designers must show collections that have
never been seen before at the Western Design Conference.
*Cost of premiering your couture collection is $500.00.
