LIVING AND INVESTING IN WYOMING
At Horst Real Estate, Deb and Monte have both been blessed by being Wyoming natives, and surely understand why folks from other places of the United States would choose Wyoming as their home. We don't have traffic jams unless there is a grizzly bear on the road. Outdoor activities are limited only by your imagination. The large amounts of Federal and State land provides for excellent recreational opportunities. Hunting, fishing, hiking and riding are just a few. Priorities are different in Wyoming. Quality of life is top on the list. People in Wyoming are friendly, quiet, quick to offer help, but maintain a sense of independence and self-reliance that you do not see in many places. |
UTILITIES
Living in one of the communities in Wyoming is much like communities anywhere. Natural gas, electricity and sewer are provided and may be billed directly from the community. In rural or remote areas propane is available and electricity is available in all but the most remote areas. Treated drinking water is available in many areas, but some will depend on private wells. Private septic systems are standard outside of the incorporated towns and cities. It is also becoming common in some areas that have poor wells to have city water hauled to cisterns for private residences. Water for irrigation becomes more complicated and will depend on the specific location. |
