 I grew up on my family ranch in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. With the rapid growth of the skiing industry, the ranch lands quickly became luxurious home sites and condominiums, and ranching began to fade into a part of the area's history. I moved to Dayton in the fall of 1994. Dayton, surrounded by large ranches, is what my hometown used to be. I started my real estate career in 1995 with a branch office of a larger office in Sheridan. I wanted a job that gave me contact with people, and the real estate business is people. I love meeting new people with different needs every day. In 1998, my partner, Sonia, and I opened our own office, Tongue River Realty, named after the large river that flows through the area. Sonia passed away in 1999, and I became the Broker and Owner of our little real estate company. My five sales associates and I stay very busy, and we strive to give our customers the best personal service possible. We like to think that when a customer comes into Tongue River Realty, they don't have one associate working for them; they have six.
I have two grown children. Katy is 24, and lives in Salida, Colorado with her husband, Jeff. Nick is 28, and lives in Ennis, Texas near Dallas. I also have one grandson, Tyler, who is 7 and lives with his mom in California.
I don't have any specific hobbies, as life is my hobby.

 Having spent the first 23 years of my life in Wyoming, I always knew that somehow, someday I would make it back. Well, I have finally made it and am now residing with Jenny in our own “Little Piece of Heaven” in Dayton ( it”s the blue house on the left!!?? ). A heartfelt thanks to all of my family, friends and those acquaintances who, through your support, kindness and assistance, have helped make the transition a truly wonderful experience.
I earned my Real Estate Salesman license in June of 2004, retired from my Farmers Insurance Agency of 13 years in September and am now a Realtor with Tongue River Realty in Dayton.
